VG dance workshops provide dance workshop sessions for primary schools around the UK specializing in dance topics such as African dance, Bollywood & and Indian dance, Street dance, Chinese New Year dance, Haka Maori dance, Commonwealth dance, Morris dance, Flamenco dance, Greek dancing, Egyptian dance, Martial arts, Carnival & Samba dance and Musical theatre.
CURRICULUM-LINKED DANCE WORKSHOPS
Primary and secondary schools (EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, and KS4) dance workshops are curriculum-linked topic based giving children and students theoretical facts about the topic and a huge emphasis on practical-based dance workshops.
These dance workshops are led by west end professional Vivian Gayle.
FLAMENCO DANCE WORKSHOPS
Providing traditional Flamenco dance workshops for primary schools, secondary schools and SEN schools for all activities and events.

The Flamenco dance workshops are aimed at EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4.
​
Children will explore Andalusian traditions of the Spanish culture with the flamenco dance workshops. During the flamenco dance workshops children will learn spanish folk dance and flamenco dance developing musicality, showmanship and the Spanish language. The dance workshops are fun, engaging and help develop confidence and communication skills working as a team. The flamenco dance workshops for schools bring everyone together and enhance childrens sense of timing, sound and rhythm.

Children will learn the foundations of the flamenco dance style such as Clapping, stamps, clicks and vocalization with the traditional flamenco music through out the whole workshop. Flamenco dance promotes culture understanding, fitness and mental and physical well being. The Flamenco dance workshops are catered for all abilities across the Key stage spectrum in primary and secondary schools.
WORKSHOP STRUCTURE
We help plan your school workshop day either half-day or full-day.
Each class recommended length of classes is;

30-minute KS1 sessions

WORKSHOP BREAKDOWN

Intro to the topic-based dance workshop theme exploring the culture and fun facts.

Warm-up and movement games working with class peers.

Learn a fun dance routine aimed at all abilities within the class.

The dance routines will be performed at the end of the workshop.​
