VG dance workshops provide dance workshop sessions for primary schools around the UK specializing in dance topics such as African dance, Bollywood & and Indian dance, Street dance, Chinese New Year dance, Haka Maori dance, Commonwealth dance, Morris dance, Flamenco dance, Greek dancing, Egyptian dance, Martial arts, Carnival & Samba dance and Musical theatre.
CURRICULUM-LINKED DANCE WORKSHOPS
Primary and secondary schools (EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, and KS4) dance workshops are curriculum-linked topic based giving children and students theoretical facts about the topic and a huge emphasis on practical-based dance workshops.
These dance workshops are led by west end professional Vivian Gayle.
BOLLYWOOD & INDIAN DANCE WORKSHOPS
Celebrate the Hindu festivals of Diwali and Holi learning cultural knowledge of India. The Bollywood & Indian dance workshops will take the children through an exciting journey of storytelling about Rami and Sita through dance and the festival of light and color.
The children will learn Indian dance styles of traditional dance and high-energy Bollywood dance. The dance workshops will develop the children's ability to create shapes, use props such as fans and scarves and learn hand movements and gestures. The children will be guided through team-building exercises through Indian dance which will improve communication skills and social skills.

The Indian dance sessions will bring out the fun and colorful personalities of the kids creating a brilliant atmosphere for children and staff.
The Diwali celebrations are 5 days throughout November. The Bollywood & Indian dance workshops are a great way to link curriculum topics.
